GOOD Based on 3173 reviews Hanan Badarudheen2025-09-28Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently went on a Speed Boat tour to Phi Phi island tour with the company and was not a great experience. The staff spent almost 30 minutes manipulating people into buying shoes and hats from their store. The reason was that it’s better not to buy from their island as it’s going to be very expensive, and since it’s very hot, you’ll definitely need hats and shoes. The hats were 300 baht and the shoes were 350 baht. And when we checked the prices at the island, it was at least 100-150 bahts cheaper. They use fear as a tactic to basically trick people into buying these stuffs. Don’t fall for these tricks if you’re planning to book with them. These shoes might be helpful at Khai Nai beach but it’s better to buy from there than from here. Shithin Shetty2025-09-23Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. AVERAGE Based on 686 reviews Rishabh A2025-07-26Verified 1 star ⭐️ ⭐ Rating: 1 Star📍 Sea Angel Cruise – Phi Phi Island TourWe are currently on a Phi Phi Island tour managed by Sea Angel Phuket, and unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing due to the rude and unprofessional behavior of our tour manager, Mrs. Ying.Despite paying a significant amount for 7 members of our group, we were treated very disrespectfully. Mrs. Ying spoke to us in an impolite, almost commanding tone, not allowing us to enjoy the trip freely. We felt like we were on a school trip where she was the teacher and we were students — we were not even allowed to go to the front of the boat to click pictures, which was one of the main highlights we were looking forward to.We urge Sea Angel management to take immediate steps to improve the conduct of their staff, especially when handling international guests. This kind of rude and restrictive behavior is not acceptable after paying such a premium amount. We will be sharing this feedback with travel communities in India and also with influencers on Instagram, as this reflects a clear bias or racism against Indian tourists — who in fact contribute greatly to Thailand’s tourism every year.Sea Angel needs to learn how to be more Indian-customer friendly or be prepared to face serious loss of goodwill. dipmission2025-04-20Verified Disrespectful Treatment and Poor Organization – I Will Never Use Sea Angel Cruise Again While the ferry from Phuket to Phi Phi with Sea Angel Cruise was fairly comfortable and service on board was acceptable, the return trip was a completely different story – and a deeply disappointing one.I arrived at the pier on Phi Phi 45 minutes before departure, well in advance. Unlike in Phuket, there was no check-in desk where passengers are normally assigned seats with stickers. A crew member checked my electronic ticket and directed me to a seat, where I waited for the ferry to depart.Just minutes before departure, staff members approached and told me I needed to give up my seat for other passengers. When I reasonably refused – having arrived early and already been seated – a manager came over and, in a very rude and unprofessional tone, told me to move to the lower deck. While not a storage area, the lower deck is significantly less comfortable and offers a much lower quality of experience than the upper deck I had originally been placed in.The boarding process was chaotic, the staff were disorganized, and the manager’s attitude was simply unacceptable. It’s clear that this company does not know how to treat its passengers with respect. As the General Manager of a hotel in Phuket, I will no longer recommend Sea Angel Cruise to any of our guests and have ended all collaboration with the company. There are far more professional and better organized ferry operators available – I strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Oshada V2025-03-09Verified Extremely Disorganized and Overpriced Tour – Avoid! I was extremely disappointed with this tour due to multiple safety and service issues. There were no safety measures in place, not even life jackets, which is highly irresponsible. The service felt purely money-driven, with the staff asking for donations at the end of the trip. They took photos of us without permission, and the itinerary was misleading. One of the islands we visited had no real attractions—just a jet ski rental. There were no chairs, no shade, and we were left under the harsh sun with no proper facilities. When we tried to buy refreshments, a simple fruit juice was priced at 200 Baht, which is over three times what we paid in Phuket. To make matters worse, we were only given 20 minutes at Maya Bay, despite having paid a 400 Baht entrance fee per person, while we were forced to spend an hour at an overpriced, poorly equipped stop.Overall, this was a poorly managed, overpriced, and disappointing experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Massimo F2025-01-23Verified Phi Phi Island Trip We chose this company for day tour to PhiPhi island. The organization is good and the boats we traveled with were comfortable. Nothing to say about the company but I recommend avoiding PhiPhi island from Phuket. Super crowded and with too many boats. Best to stay overnight on the island and take a trip to the beaches with local boats early in the morning before hordes of tourists arrive from Phuket Elena M2025-01-04Verified Avoid Ferry to Phi Phi Island. An odyssey. Meeting point completely different from that indicated by the activity. The real one is communicated 12 hours in advance via app / email which is 30 minutes walk from the one previously communicated. At the pier no assistance because they rely on other companies to do only the ferry service so completely abandoned. We miraculously found the boat we were supposed to get on. Same thing on the way back. Everyone at the pier has attendants or information points except them so you have to go looking for the boat, again. Icing on the cake, on the way back they dumped us not where they picked us up. Totally to be avoided. If you are looking for a ferry to Phi Phi there are many companies. DO NOT RELY ON THEM. I booked the cruise with lunch all day premium whatever that means paid 1800 baht. The driver was supposed to pick me up between 7-7:30 he arrived at my hotel at 8:10. No apology nothing I could have slept another hour then when I got there no greeting no warm welcome like it says on the flyer no safety briefing they never even told us how to use life jackets or where they are or what to do in case of emergency or where is the emergency exits nothing. We were me with just staff that would hardly look at you no explanation to anything then when I got on the ferry I was told my ticket was economy and I have to pay 1000 baht to upgrade so I can get the comfortable seat that was in the picture that was in the flyer when I inquired about the picture I was told that was the older boat but for the new one we get uncomfortable basic seats or upgrade. After upgrading and paying more the trip to PHI PHI island was ok as the staff on the boat were good but you had to pay extra for activities as the ticket didn’t include that mind you the flyer didn’t say that it only said entrance to the park extra but I didn’t know we needed to go to a park so after paying extra 1900 baht to do scuba diving and another 1000 for a 3 min video we were taken to over an hour of wait in the sun no no seats nothing no staff were explaining anything they just made us wait. Then after over an hour they took us to an area only few metres from the shore to do the scuba diving the instructors were very rude, ignored everyone so many of us complained about the wait and how they were treating us and nothing was done. They spoke on their language and kept laughing at us. My instructor kept hitting me on my shoulder and pushing me down violently under water and pushing my hands away from him. For someone that never done scuba diving before and can’t swim I was terrified I kept signalling to him that I want to climb up and he kept ignoring me. I was swallowing water and panicking after he hit me hard. I kept trying to go up and he finally let me and when I got up he started to shout at me and I had no idea what he was saying he kept telling me to stop turning and I didn’t know why I was turning upside down maybe that tank was heavy or maybe the belt was not in the right spot but I didn’t know why I was turning and rather than fixing it he kept shouting at me to stop turning I told him I didn’t want to do it any more as I have no idea why I was turning upside down and I was his mother age for him to hit me like that and just ask the other diver to take my photo and let me back to shore he refused and took me back to the shore without my picture that I paid 1000 baht for. When I got to the shore I was in tears and the other diver saw me and felt sorry for me and took me back to take my picture he was nice and gentle and fixed whatever the reason I was turning and showed me how to replace my hands. I didn’t know what I was doing wrong we never had briefing on anything except how to breathe out of the mouth piece which by the way it’s the same for everyone they don’t change them. Again I complained about his treatment to me and nothing was done. When I got the pier the driver was so rude as well. Other than the staff on the actual ferry and our guide which I believe his name was Idny or Indy and his team on the ferry or at the change place at PHI PHI island everyone else was very rude including his staff at the pier and the drivers. In the end I paid almost 6000 baht to have a memorable day unfortunately it will be memorable for the wrong reasons. I will never use them again and I will never recommend them. XZJ2024-11-17Verified Yoyo and Her Crew Are Excellent! My son and I went in a snorkel tour (Phi Phi Island, Monkey Beach) led by Yoyo, and it was fantastic! She took good care of everyone, kept us hydrated and safe, and managed our time so well. Great tour. Nanna E2024-11-14Verified VIP Disaster to Phi Phi - save your money and avoid! If you like the idea of a “premium VIP tour” where you feel like a sardine in a can, are served dry toast and crackers for breakfast, and constantly inhaling secondhand smoke every time the boat stops, then this is the tour for you! From start to finish, this excursion was a complete letdown. We were promised an exclusive, small group experience, but the boat was packed to the point of inducing claustrophobia. Sitting at the front didn’t help either, as we were bombarded with clouds of smoke from every smoker onboard whenever we stopped. If you dislike smoke or have a working sense of smell, consider yourself warned. The “breakfast buffet”? What a joke. The photos showed a luxurious spread, but in reality, we got nothing but some dry bread and crackers. And lunch? Not until nearly 3 p.m. By that point, starving and distrustful of the tour, we hopped off at Phi Phi Don to find real food. Thankfully we did, because the restaurant where the group was meant to eat looked horrendous – nothing like the pristine photos in the brochure. And the stops? Way too many, and each one overcrowded with tourists. Each stop felt like a battle with the crowds, and the boat was left baking under the sun. Result? Sunstroke and a ruined evening. Snorkeling? You could barely see a fish in the murky water. Monkey Beach? No monkeys in sight. Completely pointless.Bottom line: We ended up taking another boat back to Phuket. Avoid this so-called VIP tour at all costs. The only thing I got out of this day was a longing to be back at work.
